CREDARA: Rise of the Kraylen by J. E. Henderson

I have a new book on my TBR list.  I wanted to share this book with you. The book is a J EHenderson’s epic fantasy novel, CREDARA: Rise of the Kraylen (Arc-PenPublishing), the first in the Credara Trilogy. Have you read it already?

The Ultimate Battle of Good Versus Evil Continues
God’s warrior discovers his destiny and must defeat Lucifer’s army
Set thousands of years after Lucifer and his Kraylen followers battled the Sitcian Angels—a battle that God won—the time comes for the Kraylen to rise again.
With Lucifer locked away in Hell by the power of the Credara, his horde is living disguised as mortals after being cast out of heaven. There is only one man who can defeat them, but he must defeat his own demons first.
Agean has only known a tortured life as a monk of the Holy Order of God. The Order realizes that the Kraylen have initiated their deadly revenge against God and mankind. Agean learns what the rest of the Order has known all along—that he was born God’s warrior and is the chosen one to wield the power of the Credara against the Kraylen.
As Agean goes forward to reach his Godly destiny, he discovers something far more sinister involving his own dark past with members of the Kraylen army. With a team of warriors, a heavenly hawk as his guide and the Credara as the key, Agean must solve a dangerous puzzle to defeat the Kraylen before time runs out.
An epic tale of good versus evil, CREDARA: Rise of the Kraylen is fast-paced and full of surprises with every turn of the page. Combining fantasy with the religious battle of God versus Lucifer, readers are thrown into a world that is both new and familiar—with Agean leading a journey through new lands to help discover the hero within.

First Book Review of 2017: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

Book Title: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck Author: Mark Manson Format: Audiobook Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Purchase Book
Reading in 2017 is all about "getting my life together." Since I am turning 35 this year, I am focused on being the "best me" that I can be. Therefore, when I chose The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, I knew that I was starting my year off just right.
I started the audiobook on January 3rd, during my morning commute to work. I'm guilty of not reading the synopsis of a book that I have chosen, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Matter of Fact, I think I heard about the book when I was listening to a podcast by Myleik Teele. Her podcasts give me life, and I love that she is an avid reader, who is dedicated to personal development. So, when she recommends a book to read, I take note.  After reading 48 Laws of Power because of Myleik's recommendation and enjoying it, I have started making a list of books that she suggests to her lis…

Book Review: I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual by Luvvie Ajayi

Book Title:I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual
Author: Luvvie Ajayi
Format: Paperback
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Ajayi is widely known throughout social media as Awesomely Luvvie because of her blog, which is where I first became introduced to her.  Luvvie was blogging before blogging was a "thing" and has contributed to presenting incredible commentary on one of my favorite shows, Scandal.  So, when I heard that she had a new book, I wanted to get it ASAP.  When my ARC copy arrived, it was a very sacred moment.  I did not want to ruin the pages or crinkle the cover. What would Ajayi think of me if I did not handle her book with care? I decided to wait until I could focus on reading the book.

Riding on the passenger side during a trip to visit my in-laws, I decided to devour the book.  Reading the first page of I'm Judging You, I knew that I would not be disappointed.  Ajayi makes you laugh out loud.  My husband kept giving me major "side-eye" as I kept bursting…
